2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable operation of this online offering pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Server log files

Every time you access this website, the hosting provider automatically collects technical access data transmitted by your browser (server log files). This includes your IP address, the date and time of access, and your browser type and operating system. This data is used exclusively for operational security and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation).

4. No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, marketing, or other tracking services. Fonts are self-hosted and served exclusively from this domain — no requests are sent to third-party servers. There is therefore nothing to consent to.

5. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide — including your email address and the content of your message — solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). We do not share this data with third parties unless you have expressly consented.

6. The SectionGuard app (Shopify)

For merchants who install SectionGuard through the Shopify App Store, the app stores the shop domain and the section content you create (text, settings, template data). SectionGuard does not store any customer data from your shop — no names, email addresses, addresses, or order details.

The app's database runs in Frankfurt, Germany, within the EU. Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact) are implemented; deletion and access requests that Shopify sends via these webhooks are fulfilled automatically — for example after the app is uninstalled.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that your browser's address bar switches from "http://" to "https://".

8. Your rights as a data subject

Under the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR).
