How billing works on this Shopify sections app.

How does billing work?
Billing runs entirely through Shopify (Shopify Managed Pricing). When you pick a paid plan, the charge is approved and collected on your regular Shopify bill through the Shopify Billing API — no separate invoice, no card details handed to us. Prices are shown in USD; Shopify converts to your local currency at checkout.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Uninstall the app or downgrade from the plan screen and Shopify stops the recurring charge — there's no contract and no cancellation fee. Note that sections live in the app, so they stop rendering once you leave the plan that supports them. If you uninstall, they disappear cleanly from the storefront; your content stays safely stored within GDPR retention periods, and published sections are automatically restored if you reinstall.
What counts as a section?
One section is one block of HTML, CSS and JS you build in the app and place in your theme through the Theme App Extension — for example a product hero, a metafield display or a promo band. The Free plan holds up to three of these; Basic and Pro remove the cap. Placing the same section on multiple pages or templates doesn't count again.

Free gives you up to three sections with the code editor, live preview, dynamic tokens and metafields, scheduling, versions and diff, export/import and global code. You only move to a paid plan if you need more than three sections (Basic) or the 35-template library (Pro).
